How do I buy a book?
- Step 1
Select any text book that you prefer, Click add it to cart & Select proceed to checkout. - Step 2
Fill the form, click submit. - Step 3
Select a payment method from any options given below (Ex- credit card, direct bank deposit , Ez cash) & submit.
Do I have to be a member to buy a book? - NO, you don’t have to be a member to purchase a book.
What are the benefits of becoming a member? - You can sell a book as an individual seller only if you become a member and also be added to our promotions & discounts.
Do you accept orders over the phone? - No you can't,But you can call & place an order with the help of our online assistants.
What kind of payments do you accept? - We accept four methods of payments.
- Direct bank deposits
- Credit cards
- Ez cash
What measures have been taken to protect my payments & personal information? - We offer the use of a secure server. All supplied sensitive/credit information is transmitted via Secure Socket Layer (SSL) technology and then encrypted into our Payment Gateway providers database only to be accessible by those authorized with special access rights to such systems, and are required to keep the information confidential.
How can I get Special offers & discounts? - By registering yourself as a Member you can enjoy our Promotions & Discounts.
How will I get my purchased books? - The book will be delivered to your doorstep by our delivery service.
How do I change my delivery address? - If you are a member, you can log in to your account from the menu & click on “my account details”. Then click on “edit” & include your delivery address. Finally click on “update” for immediate updating of delivery address.
How do I change my delivery address? - You can call our customer service & give your “order number” to our customer service assistant & your pre placed order will be cancelled. If you have already paid us by bank deposit or credit card we will return same to your credit card within 3 working days. If you have paid through direct bank deposit refunds will be made by a cheque within 5 working days.
What if I can’t find the Book I’m looking for? - You can go to our Help page & send us a direct email regarding your book, we will help you to figure out your book problem with an ease. Also, if we haven’t got the book you are looking for, we can “special order” the requested book just for you.
How do I find out the condition of a used book? - You can see the book condition as NEW or USED in the book rankings at the bottom of the book cover image.
How does your book ranking work? - Our books are ranked considering each seller and key facts such as price, book quality, customer reviews & comments, reliability of the seller.

Selling
How to sell my books? - Step 1
Register as a MEMBER and you will have the privilege of selling your Used/New books or if you are a bookshop & want to sell books by your own company name register in “Book Shop”
- Step 2
Fill in the form with your own password & submit. An e-mail will be delivered to your given e- mail account confirming your account at Professionaltextbooks.lk.
- Step 3
After the confirmation, you can sign in with your email & password, go to “My Account”, select “Add your book to sell” then fill the form adding your book details and select your book from our database or add your own book (which has been approved by the ADMINISTARTOR) and then your book will be added.
Can I sell used books at Professionaltextbooks.lk? - Yes, you can sell all your used but readable books with its Real condition clearly mentioned.
How will I show the book condition? - When you add details of your book select, Book condition as “used” and fill in the rest of the fields.
How do you pay me? - When a book/s has been purchased by a customer an e-mail will be sent. Payment will only be sent after 14 days by a cheque incase the customer disputes the condition of the book than what has been described on the site.
How do you charge me? - To sell a book,you will be not charged for registering with Professionaltextbooks.lk. We will be charging only 15% of your sale price if you have a “Member” account.

How does your ranking of selling books work? - Your books would be ranked according to key factors such as price, quality of book, customer reviews of your previous sales.
How will I know the status my book? - When a customer purchases your book, our system will automatically send you an e-mail informing you the specified book that has been sold & details of delivering the book/s to us. If the customer cancels the book order you will also be notified by an email & and your book automatically will be added in to the selling book list.
What if I don’t have the book the customer purchased? - By accepting the terms and conditions of Professionaltextbooks.lk, you were strictly advised and agreed to update your online book store frequently. It is your responsibility to keep the book stock available which you have uploaded online. You will be blacklisted by Professionaltextbooks.lk and your rank will be de-graded, if found advertising a book that is not available on your online book store. This might lead up to cancellation of your membership with Professionaltextbooks.lk.
Can I add a new book that does not exist in your site? - Yes you can! Your Book will be on display within 24 hours after you have uploaded your book/s online. Your book/s will be carefully checked with the terms and conditions of Professionaltextbooks.lk before authorizing the book/s available to sell through our website.
How can I remove a book/s on my seller list? - Please clicking on “My Bookstore”. Under books approved and Books pending, you can remove your books simply by click on the " RED" delete button at the end of each table row.
How can I edit my books products on my seller list? - You can edit the quantity and the price of your seller books by clicking on the edit button given in the "Books approved" pannel. You will not be allowed to increase the price of your book/s. However you may reduce the price of your books and this will not be advised by Professionaltextbooks.lk.

Book Shops
How does this work?
Selling a book
- Step 1
Sign in as a Bookshop. - Step 2
Fill in the valid form with your own password & submit. An e-mail will be delivered to your given e- mail account which will confirm your account with Professionaltextbooks.lk. - Step 3
After the confirmation and signing in with your e-mail & password, Go to “My account” select “Add your book to sell”. Fill in the form including the book details and select your book from our database or add your own book (which has been approved by the ADMINISTRATOR). Now your book will be added to be sold under the book title mentioned in your form.
How will I create an account to buy a book? - Go to sign in , fill your e-mail , select Book shop under " Do you have an Professionaltextbooks.lk password?" and submit.
You will be asked to fill your details in the next page. Please fill your details and continue with your registration following the steps given in Professionaltextbooks.lk website.
How do you pay me? - When a book has been purchased by a customer you will receive an e-mail informing the purchase of your book. You will be contacted soon by our accounts division asking your bank details for us to make the payment for your sold book.
How do you charge me? - Since you are a Book shop & have a “Book Shop” account in our InternationalScholBooks.lk web site , we will charge 30 % on each book sale.

How will I know if my book has been sold? - When a customer purchases your book, our system will automatically send you an e-mail informing you the sale of the specified book & Details of delivering the book/s to us. If a customer cancels the book order, you will also be notified with an e-mail & your book automatically will be added in to the selling book list.
How Do I delivery my sold books to customers? - When your book has been purchased, you will receive an email regarding the sale of the book& your Customer Information .If cusotmer choose Dispatch Method as,

There is an additional charge to use a courier company to pick the book from the seller and deliver the book to buyer.

Can I add a new book that’s not in your site? - Yes, you may add a book that is not on our site.
How can I remove Books on my seller list? - You will have to log on to your account to remove a book from the seller list. Simply click on the delete button at your right to delete any item.
How can I Edit Books products on my seller list? - You can edit the quantity and the price of your seller books by clicking on the edit button given in the "Books approved" panel. You will not be allowed to increase the price of your book/s. However you may reduce the price of your books and this will not be advised by Professionaltextbooks.lk.
Can I advertise on your site? - Yes, you may advertize on our site. Send us an email to info@Professionaltextbooks.lk or call us regarding your advertisement wishers & we will help you with your marketing plan in this site.
